UNDERGRADUATE
Honours Thesis students interested in behavioural, anatomical, or meta-analysis projects will be considered.
Students who want to be involved on a part-time basis will be considered through Independent Study and the Western Work Study Program. Please contact us and include a resume, an unofficial transcript, and a brief description of research interests.
We can also support summer students through the Western USRI and NSERC USRA programs. If you are interested in this program, please contact us as early as possible, preferably by January.
GRADUATE
Students interested in Masters or Doctoral level research and mentorship can apply through the Psychology, Biology, or Neuroscience graduate programs. Please check these program websites for application details and deadlines. Prospective students should contact us prior to submitting an application. Please include a resume or CV and a brief description of your research interests and experience.
Funding for international graduate students is limited. Please reach out to discuss potential opportunities. Prospective international students are encouraged to apply for funding through programs such as Vanier Canada Graduate Scholarship, Trudeau Doctoral Scholarship, and BrainsCAN. POSTDOCTORAL
We are always looking for outstanding scientists to join our team. Candidates who are eligible to apply for external funding are encouraged to contact us as early as possible to discuss options. Please include a CV, a brief description of research interests, and contact information for three references.
Some funding opportunities for postdoctoral researchers include: NSERC PDF program, CIHR Fellowships, Banting Postdoctoral Fellowships, MITACS Elevate Postdoctoral Fellowship Program, BrainsCAN, Western Social Science Postdoctoral Award, and the Western Postdoctoral Program. International candidates can also look into programs hosted by their home country. For example, the Fullbright Program offers opportunities for US citizens in Canada.
